Nice to meet you! We are a couple of nuts from the Czech Republic with the passion for hand-made instruments from a reclaimed wood with a story. We love to make guitars, basses, cigar box guitars and mini basses.
Red Bird Instruments was founded by Jan, making guitars since 2007. Jan’s first passion were cigarbox guitars and soon he started making guitars and basses too. He is a full-time luthier since 2016. In 2020 Lucie joined Red Bird, first as a designer, then as a luthier. Nowadays we make around 35 guitars a year.
