Fender Jazz Bass 1965 Sunburst original

Selling my fully original 1965 Fender Jazz Bass in excellent condition – except of the body back. Unfortunately one of the previous owners applied an adhesive foil on the body back to protect the finish from belt scratches. He made it even worse – the glue reacted with the Nitro finish and when dismounted the foil pulled a certain finish area from the body. This is an aesthetic issue and doesn’t have any impact on playability or sound. It is already reflected in the price.

Nothing replaced or restored. Finish, parts, electrics – everything is factory original from 1965. Even the flat screws of the electrics cover are still there. Covers have the smaller screw holes as common for pre-66 JBs. The Hootenanny button from the back of the headstock is missing.

Trussrod, Tuners, Bridge, electrics … everything works fine, the frets have still Long life on them, the truss rod screw is still flush with the neck end.
